1. Brand Identity
Ski Bum Coffee Co® is a specialty coffee brand rooted in adventure, mountain culture, and the passion for skiing. The brand embodies an active, outdoorsy lifestyle while delivering a premium coffee experience. Our tone is adventurous, bold, and approachable.
2. Logo Usage
Primary Logos

Hexagon Logo (Skier Silhouette in Hexagon)
- Preferred usage: Primary Blue (HEX #1B3867 / RGB 27, 56, 103) on light backgrounds.
- Alternate usage: Black or White, depending on contrast needs.
- Minimum clear space: At least the height of the skier’s head around all sides.
- Minimum size: No smaller than 0.75” wide for print / 100px wide for digital.

Wordmark Logo (Ski Bum Coffee Co®)
- Primary usage: Gradient Blue (from deep to lighter blue).
- Alternate usage: Solid Blue (HEX #1B3867), Black, or White.
- Can be used independently or in combination with the hexagon logo.
Restrictions
- Do not alter the proportions of the logos.
- Do not rotate, distort, or skew the logos.
- Do not place logos on overly complex or low-contrast backgrounds that impair readability.
- Do not change the logo colors outside of approved brand colors.
- As a registered trademark and registered service mark, must appear with the "®" symbol.
- All printed or digital materials shall include a notice in substantially the following form:
“SKI BUM COFFEE CO® is a registered trademark of Garofalo Enterprises Inc., used under license.”
3. Color Palette
Primary Colors

- Black: HEX #000000 | RGB (0, 0, 0) | CMYK (0, 0, 0, 100)
- White: HEX #FFFFFF | RGB (255, 255, 255) | CMYK (0, 0, 0, 0)
Gradient Usage (Wordmark only)
- Gradient Blue (approved for wordmark only) may shift from darker navy blue (#1B3867) to lighter sky blue (#4A90E2).
4. Typography
Primary Typeface
- Headline / Brand Typeface: Bold, adventurous sans-serif font (recommendation: Josefin Slab semibold or Permanent Marker).
- Body Text Typeface: Clean, modern sans-serif (recommendation: Montserrat Regular or Open Sans).
Usage
- Headlines: Strong, bold typeface for clarity and brand recognition.
- Body copy: Readable, clean typeface for storytelling and marketing material.
5. Photography & Visual Style
- Tone: Outdoor, adventurous, lifestyle-driven. Capture skiing, snowboarding, and mountain culture alongside coffee moments.
- Lighting: Natural light, crisp contrasts, snowy whites balanced against dark blues and earthy tones.
- Mood: Inviting, energizing, and adventurous.

7. Applications
Packaging
- Use the hexagon logo prominently on the front.
- Wordmark logo can be used as a supporting design element.
- Keep backgrounds simple and high-contrast to maintain legibility.
Social Media
- Use logos in profile images and watermarks.
- Gradient wordmark is acceptable for headers and posts.
Merchandise
- Hexagon logo can stand alone on mugs, apparel, and gear.
